![]() ![]() Nancy’s family would like to thank Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties for the care and support they provided. Private burial will be at the Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jfrom 11 AM to 12 Noon in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. Lazarus (Chip) of Wilmington, DE two granddaughters, Jaclyn Lazarus of Riviera Beach, FL and Caitlin Lazarus (Larry) of Liberty, NY one great granddaughter, Viviana of Liberty, NY her sister, Frances Phillips of Selbyville, DE and three nieces. Lazarus (Mary Ellen) of Liberty, NY and Larry E. Lazarus in 1974 one daughter-in-law, Carol Lazarus one granddaughter, Cary Lazarus and one grandson, William Lazarus, Jr. She was predeceased by her parents ten siblings and her husband, William A. She attended the Sound United Methodist Church in Selbyville, volunteered at fundraisers, and went Christmas Caroling at an assisted living facility. She enjoyed working in the yard, reading, and spending summers in Liberty with her grandchildren.įor the past 27 years, Nancy lived with her sister in Selbyville, DE before returning to New York to live with her son. She always remembered special occasions and would write letters and send cards to everyone she knew. Nancy had many friends and was a great friend to everyone she met. In 1947, at the age of 19, Nancy traveled by train from Philadelphia to New York City to marry William in Maspeth, NY. The daughter of the late Matthew and Georgianna Righter Ellis, she was born in Kennett Square, PA she was the 11th of 12 children.Īs a young girl, Nancy was fascinated with old Hollywood Movie Stars and kept a scrap book of them she retained a wealth of information about them. Lazarus passed away at her son’s home in Liberty, NY surrounded by her loving family on July 13, 2022. ![]()
